Me: Sorry, not right now. But I'm sure Santa will bring you lots.
Son: Can he bring some more tomorrow?
Me: Tomorrow's not Christmas and we don't have our tree up.
Son: Then lets put up our tree!
Me: That's not quite how it works.
Son: That sounds exactly how it works...
